<< Designated Fair Trade Faith Group >>The nominated designated Fair Trade Faith Group received, in the past year, its Fairtrade Canada Fair Trade Designation. The nominee has therefore taken a big step towards fair trade by posing one or more actions that have supported the fair trade movement in Quebec.
The designated Fair Trade Faith Group Award recognizes churches, mosques, synagogues, temples and other faith groups that demonstrate a strong commitment to fair trade through their congregations. The nominated Faith Group therefore has a long-term vision for large-scale awareness and support of fair trade within its congregation and in neighboring communities.
Through its actions in its Faith Group, the Fair Trade Designation Committee met all the Fair Trade Program requirements. The nominee for this category has been awarded the Fair Trade Faith Group designation in the past year.

(All coffee and tea served in the establishment of the religious group and at events outside the establishment must be certified fair.) | 50 points |
Visibility and Education within the Faith Group | √ Does the committee have at least 1 awareness activity per year ?; √ Does the committee ensure that fair trade engagement is visible to congregation members and visitors by using public posters ?; √ Does the committee share information about fair trade on the faith group’s website as well as social media and the newsletter (if applicable)? | 35 points |
