<< Designated Fair Trade Event >>

The Nominated Designated Fair Trade Event has received, in the past year, Fairtrade Canada’s fair trade designation. The nominee has therefore taken a big step towards fair trade by posing one or more actions that have supported the fair trade movement in Quebec.

The Designated Fair Event Award recognizes the public and private events in Quebec City that demonstrate to participants a strong commitment to fair trade by raising awareness of the importance of having a social conscience. These events can bring together an intimate circle of friends or a larger community group. The nominated event therefore has a long-term vision for large-scale awareness and support of fair trade within its event and in neighboring communities.

Through its actions in its event, the Fair Trade Designation Committee met all the Fair trade Program requirements. The nominee for this category has been awarded the Fair Trade Event designation in the past year.
